What makes our farm regenerative?
Regenerative agriculture has been gaining attention in recent years as a solution to the many challenges we face regarding food production. But often times, these trending phrases or labels can be thrown around and misrepresented or misunderstood. I wanted to take this opportunity to explain exactly what we're doing on our farm to regenerate (or improve) our soil.
Grass finished in the snow?
I thought you might be curious what our cows eat in the winter since it's no secret our pastures are covered in snow this time of year. I'm sharing how our cattle can be truly 100% grass fed and grass finished, from start to finish, even though we have snow covered pastures this time of year.
