Homemade bone broth is a staple in our home and it's something I like to always have on hand.

Using Reil Ranch soup and oxtail bones we can make a homemade bone broth that's nutrient-dense, rich in flavor and packed with important minerals.

Some store bought broths use lab produced meat flavorings, so making your own bone broth will allow you to get the most out of your broth.

The slow process of bone broth making allows the bones and ligaments to release healing compounds like collagen, proline, glycine and glutamine that have the power to transform your health. (paraphrasing from Dr. Axe)

Our family uses bone broth for everything... and that's not an exaggeration! haha It's great on it's own or added into recipes. We often times use it to cook our rice in place of water. We even use it in our homemade hot chocolate and popsicles.

I make our homemade broth with our crock pot or instant pot. I tend to use the crock pot more for this but have had great success with both methods, you can check them out below.
